6 Day safari plus Zanzibar Island tour itinerary

Day 1: Dar– Selous Game Reserve.

Depart Dar at 08:30 hrs by flight or take a ferry for Selous Game Reserve, you will arrive at 1110hrs, meet and transfer by 4 x 4 vehicle with picnic lunch to Selous game Reserve. At 1400hrs depart for afternoon game drives in Selous game Reserve, You will have dinner and overnight at Hippo Tented camp.

Day 2: Selous Game Reserve.

Morning 2-3 hrs walking safari to the African bush accompanied by an armed ranger. Walking safari gives guest a wonderful experience of the African wilderness. Sometimes they will find themselves walk next to Zebra, Giraffe, monkey, and many other animals. Also this can be the best opportunity to identify different species of plants and birds. Lunch at the camp then afternoon proceed with the afternoon game drives in the reserve, dinner and overnight at Hippo Tented Camp.

Day 3: Selous Game Reserve – Mikumi National Park.

Early in the morning game en-route to Mikumi National Park with picnic lunch boxes, arrive Mikumi and proceed with sunset game viewing, Dinner and overnight at Tan-Swiss Hotel.

Day 4: Mikumi –Dar es Salaam.

Morning game drives in Mikumi Park, at 0830hrs return to lodge for late breakfast, after breakfast you will departs back to Dar es Salaam for your Ferry transfer to Zanzibar. On arrival at the Int Airport in Zanzibar, you will meet one of Open Africa Safaris' representative. He or she will then escort you to the vehicle and road transfer to your beach cottage in north cost at Mnarani beachcottage in Nungwi. Meal Plan: Breakfast, drinking water in your hotel room might be provided.

Day 5: Zanzibar Island Beach Leisure

On this day you can do as many activities as you wish in Nungwi area. Enjoy your beach leisure at your beach resort, Boat ride at Indian Ocean Island, Scuba diving, and Snorkeling. These activities are optional with extra costs. At the end of this enjoyment day in Nungwi beach area, you will then return to Armani-Beach-Cottages for Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Activities at Stone town

Today we will drive you to Stone town for multiple tour and activities. The tours will include, Slave market tour, Spice tour, and Prison Island tour. These activities are optional with extra costs. Lunch will be served in Stone town. In the evening you will be dropped-off at Zanzibar international airport for your connection flight back home.

End of tour provided by lionking Safaris, but you may decide to add more nights by your own based on your budget.

The price for this 6 day safari and Zanzibar tour is based on joining group for safari and private tour in Zanzibar.
