Day 1: Kilimanjaro – Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met by a representative and transferred by private vehicle to your hotel. The remainder of your day is at leisure. Arusha Mvuli Hotel. For overnight before you first day of safari trip. Meal: Breakfast, and Lunch box.

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara

We transfer into Lake Manyara for morning game drive and lunch, a classic safari picnic, and enjoy our final glimpse of the great wilds of the Northern Tanzania. Lake Manyara offers an insight into the Great Rift Valley system and the adaptation of many herd animals and magnificent birdlife. In the late afternoon, we zig zag our way up the Rift Valley Escarpment and onto the crater highlands for overnight.

Day 3: Ngorongoro – South Serengeti Ndutu Region

Early morning transfer to Ngorongoro. Ngorongoro is collapsed volcano – an incredible natural amphitheater, 25 km across and teeming with all of the African big game. Early morning descent into the crater for spectacular scenery and game viewing in what has been described as the eighth wonder of the world. After lunch, transfer to the incredible NDUTU areas of the southern Serengeti.

Day 4: Southern Serengeti Ndutu Region

Spend the day exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti, we are able to game drive all through the plains and riverine areas. The lodge is permanent, allowing for optimal wildlife viewing activities while still being close to Ndutu areas.

Day 5: Another Full day Game Drive in Ndutu Area

After breakfast today you will have another full day game drive in Ndutu region, if it will be around middle of February or beginning of March, you will be able to witness  calving season when approximately 8,000 wildebeest are born every day for a period of approximately 3 weeks. Today you will have hot lunch at the Camp, after lunch you will have 1 hour rest at the camp before driving back to the open grassland for your evening game drive.

Dinner and overnight at Kati kati Tented camp Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 6: Serengeti – Arusha

After breakfast, we leisurely game drive en route to Ndutu airstrip for our charter flight back to Arusha. Additional onward arrangements can be prepared (additional costs apply).

The price for the above 6-day safari package is based on Mid- Range Lodging Safari.

Please note that hotel accommodation before and after safari is not included in this price, but it can be arranged by lionking Safaris for extra costs.
